Spent 30 minutes fighting a 3 foot leopard shark tonight.  According to some people it DID NOT HAPPEN since I don’t have pics.  I’ll take the high and the sore arm over a picture any day.  He was a monster, and he broke off before I got him to hand.  Which is fine with me…I’ve never handled a fish that big before in the surf and frankly I was nervous to do so in front of the 30+ people that were watching me.  

9 Weight, red and orange crab pattern.  Caught him at 25th Street in Del Mar at Sunset.  And it was on my very first cast.
